Hair loss myths

When it comes to hair loss there are all sorts of crazy ideas floating around out there. For example, some people think that if they wear hats it will stop the flow of blood to the scalp therefore stop nourishment from going to their hair shaft. This will eventually kill their hair and cause them to go bald. The good news is this is a true. The only good parts of this myth is that anyone who believes it will wear a hat and therefore protect himself from the sun. Some people think that the type of shampoo or different hair care products they use effect their hair loss. This isn’t true either, except in the case of where they might be allergic to certain product. And then if this is the case is easily fixed.

Some of the myths are that there are specific products that can cause hair to grow for people that are going bald due to genetic reasons. People want to believe a lot of these claims and many companies prey on the hopes of these people. Usually if you see a product advertised with thicker fuller hair, you want to be where. One of the claims is that is products will unclog poor so that hair can grow, but this has no effect on hair that is being lost due to genetics.

Some people think that male pattern baldness can just stop on its own never to return again. Unfortunately the medical consensus on that is that once balding starts it keeps going and doesn’t stop. The reasons that a man might think that this process is stopped is because it could be moving slowly or it could be happening in slow stages that he doesn’t notice. The only way to know if something is the truth or falsehood is to do your research so you know the truth. For more information on hair transplant.
